What is the Great Tribulation & the Fourth Beast? 

Daniel 7:19  Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; 20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.  21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.  23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.  24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

(Daniels writings go right along with John’s writings in):

Revelation 13: 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.  6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: (that happened to the early church) and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Showing that these forty and two months have passed and showing you this man in Revelation is exactly the same one as in Daniel.

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.  (Exactly forty and two months)

History states and Daniel states that the daily sacrifice was taken away…  that happened in A.D. 70.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

You know they were led away captive over 1900 years ago proving along with history that this has already been fulfilled.  They couldn’t offer up sacrifices under the Law of Moses anymore.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, (speaking of Jesus) but not for himself: (no, he died for us) and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary; (the holly place) and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war (the flood) desolations are determined.  27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, (the abomination of desolation) even until the consummation, (consuming the people) and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

This is when God sent them out to bid them to the wedding:

Matthew 22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.  7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

That was the destruction of natural Jerusalem and I’m going to give you an excerpt from the “History of Israel and the Nations”.  You find it on page 224.

And when the Temple area was taken by the Romans and the sanctuary itself was still burning…(Well, that’s fulfilling Matthew 22:7) But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.  (That was talking about natural Jerusalem.)

Again, And when the Temple area was taken by the Romans and the sanctuary itself was still burning, the soldiers brought their legionary standards into the sacred precincts and set them up opposite the eastern gate.  There is the abomination of desolation.  When you see the abomination of desolation set up.

Well, here it is.  That’s when it happened.  They burned the city of Jerusalem and the soldiers brought their legionary standards into the sacred precincts.  That has happened.

PAGE 223 says, accordingly in A.D. 70, that is seventy years after Christ came, around 1900 years ago, Titus infested Jerusalem.  The Romans captured the forces of Antonio.  Twelve days later the daily sacrifice in the Temple was discontinued.

I have shown you that the saints were not gone off but they were here being slaughtered by this power,worn out by that hellish power.  You know this doctrine that the great tribulation is in the future is not true.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

We are going to show you why God said “nor ever shall be”.

Ezekiel 39:24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. 

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.  27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; 28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.  29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

They never will destroy the Jews and drive them out of their homeland anymore.

Jonah Chapter 2 - King James Version of the Bible.

1 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,

2  And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. 

3  For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.

4  Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

5  The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.

6  I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

7  When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

8  They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

9  But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed.  Salvation is of the LORD.

 10  And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

 FOLLOWING JESUS: He'll Make a Way

HE'LL MAKE A WAY RIGHT ON TIME How many knows that to be true?  Thank God for his mercy and his love…for perseverance that he has taught us through his word.  He will make a way when it seems like everything else is telling you, “No you can’t make it”.  He made a way…a way from earth to heaven.

BUT WE HAVE TO KEEP PRESSING...pressing into this path that the Lord has allowed for us to have.  The bible says, James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth,…(you don’t err in the truth you err from the truth) and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. KJV.

How about that today? Aren’t you glad Jesus Christ allowed that blood that was sang about?  Aren’t you thankful that the Lord allowed that blood to wash away the sins in your life…to clean you up and make you a vessel of honor...allowed you to have a robe of righteous…a white robe?  Praise his name. It means something to be able to say that you’re on the King’s highway.  Doesn’t it? 

SCRIPTURE FOLLOWING JESUS  Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. KJV

The Lord has a pathway for us to travel.   Jesus said, I am the way.  I am the truth.  I am the life.  If you want the life today, you’ve got to find the truth.  If you want the truth, you’ve got to find the way.  And, that way is Jesus Christ. Can we give the Lord some praise? Come on...let’s praise him today.

WHO IS JESUS  John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV The only way to get to where God is at is through the Saviour, Jesus Christ. And, the Lord made a way for you to do that. 

WHY WAS JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED When he gave his life at the cross of Calvary.  He persevered…think about it…before he ever got to that cross, he was beaten unrecognizable. They mocked him. They lied on him saying that “he is a sinner”…all kinds of ways that they tried to put Christ down. But God had a plan and that plan was for you to make it to heaven. 

Jesus was beaten and mocked. What a day!

BELOVED OF THE LORD I’ve quoted it quite often here, 2^nd Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: KJV.

Today the word of God goes forth.  I’m thankful for the word that the Lord left on record for us to go by and the spirit that he left here to reckon with it, and he called it the Spirit of truth.  Aren’t you thankful for that?  Jesus said, “It is expedient for you that I go away – if I go away I’ll pray the Father”. Think about that for just a second.

IS GOD AND JESUS CHRIST THE SAME PERSON  Jesus knows each and every one of us, and he calls us by name to the Father.  Every need that you have, you bring it to Jesus, and you tell him what your petition is.  He in turn goes to the Father, and he says, “So and so needs this touch”…this is what we need today. He is an intercessor for us.  Hallelujah to the Lamb of Glory!  Don’t you love him?  Yes.

I am the way, the truth and the life. There is only one way from earth to heaven.  Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; KJV

BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST  You see, it’s not everybody that even proclaims Jesus Christ or the name of Jesus Christ that’s going to heaven.  You say, “That sounds awfully harsh”. 

Let me tell you what Jesus Christ told them: John 6:53 Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. KJV

Those people who were standing there could only imagine taking a bite off Jesus’ arm and drinking his blood.  They didn’t understand what Jesus was trying to tell them.  There were many turned and walked with them no more. Jesus turned to his disciples and said, “Will ye also go away?  I love what Peter had to say here...he said, “Lord, to whom shall we go?  thou hast the words"…the words…the words. 

If I could drive that home to you.  You want to know why it's important for you to come out to the House of the Lord? For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you.

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST If you get on God’s highway, you’ll have to hear his word. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word.  How many believe that God is God? You truly believe that he is God…he’s the man who made the universe.  He’s the one who spoke light into existence.    

You want to talk about an all-powerful God? Every need that you have, he will supply.  God has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness. 

 _{If we have anything today, we received it from someone. People say, “I work hard for what I’ve got”.…have you forgotten who gave you the strength to get up in the morning and say, “Lord, I’m going to work for you”.  Lord, I thank you.}  

_{We used to hear the ole men of God say, “If you can move your “little pinky” (finger) that’s enough evidence that there is a God”.}
