Spiritual Encouragement
ENCOURAGEMENT TO LIVE FOR JESUS CHRIST
I hope something that I say will prove a blessing to hearts so people will get encouragement to live more for Jesus Christ. That is what church is all about...saving souls & getting people into a place where they can live for the Lord Jesus...give him glory & honor. The bible tells to let our light so shine that men may see our good deeds to glorify the Father which is in heaven.
EVERYTHING WE HAVE COMES FROM GOD
Do we want to give God any glory today? Live good...give him your life. Everything we have today comes from him. I will ask you a question...What do you have today that you did not receive?
I hear people say, "I've worked hard for everything I've got". Who gives you the strength to get up everyday? Who gave you the desire to want to do something to be a blessing to somebody else? Who give you that knowledge & that wisdom? We owe it all to God.
THE SAVIOUR DIED ON THE CROSS
We were lost, & the mighty hand of the Saviour who died at the cross of Calvary gave us the right. Look at the world & the shape it's in today. What if Jesus had not come to this earth & not died? What if he had not given his life for us to have the church to worship in...to have the freedom of religion that we have today...the ability we have.
HOPE
The bible said, "Whatsoever things were written aforetime (speaking of the Old Testament) were written for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the scripture might have hope.
Why do we have that hope today? If you go back unto the law to the Prophets & the Psalms, they all taught toward Jesus Christ. If you go there, they will all lead you to the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, that's our job as Christians.
LEAD PEOPLE TO JESUS
Our duty today is to lead someone. Give them a helping hand & lead them toward Jesus Christ. This world will take everything it can get. The bible said that the devil was "seeking whom he may devour:". That is his job. That is what Satan is all about...trying to destroy your heart...your life & your soul...everything around you.
But, if you'll give your heart & your life to Jesus Christ...Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matt. 11:28 KJV
LOOK TO JESUS
If your soul is distressed today...if you are burdened down, & you don't know which way to turn, I'll tell you where to go. Look to Jesus! What did the bible say? "I will look to the hills which cometh my help. My help cometh from above".
LORD'S MERCIES RENEWED EACH MORNING
Every morning we get up, God's mercies are renewed. If you are able to get out on the floor & put your foot on solid ground, you need to give God thanks & praise for that. If you woke up in good health, give the Lord God praise for that. If you woke up in sickness, give God praise for that.
